This award exemplifies a person whose positive attitude and outlook directly effects residents and staff. Characteristics of a positive person include; positive energy, inspiring spirit, optimistic, encouraging, happy, calm in a crisis, collaborative and fun. Takes lemons and makes lemonade!
Ancillary Award
This award recognises an excellent person-centred service to residents, demonstrating dignity and respect through ancillary services. (For example; administrator, cook, maintenance, pool support etc.)

This award will recognise staff who have found new and creative approaches towards care and how we support individuals. A member of staff who has used their creativity and skills to enrich the loves of the residents through art, sensory experiences and music.. to name a few.
The Leadership Award
Leaders set the tone and culture of a home. This award celebrates a leader who has demonstrated a high level of expertise, exceptional skills, great support for colleagues and a positive commitment to person centred support.
Training & Development Award
Someone who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to their learning.
Going the Extra Mile Award
Someone who has gone the extra mile; this could include taking a residents experience from good to great, adding an invaluable contribution to a piece of work, being a shining example of best practice, being a foundation of innovation, inspiring people with a fresh approach, or anything else you think is worthy.

This award will be given to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the home they work in, by going beyond the call of duty and who exemplify our core values.
