RIVERS

Rivers & Cabin are situated adjacent to the lovely Longrun Meadow, a short walk away from the centre of Taunton in Somerset. Rivers opened in August 2014 with Cabin being established in October 2015.

 

Rivers has six bedrooms on the ground floor, all with patio doors leading out onto individual patio areas. There are three bedrooms upstairs with accessibility via the lift.

Cabin has six bedrooms on the ground floor with individual patio access, and a further two bedrooms upstairs with balconies overlooking Longrun Meadow.

 

The environment is designed to provide space and comfort for people who may have profound physical health needs, with adapted access and full ceiling hoist in place where required. Rivers and Cabin have been specifically designed and decorated to provide beautiful, spacious and open planned living.​

 

A high level of care and support is delivered to a smaller group of young people with vulnerability and complex needs; including epilepsy, gastronomy feed, sensory loss, and postural care and mobility difficulties.

 

The homes benefit from being located in close proximity to therapeutic resources, including full sized Hydrotherapy-pool.
